I try to do my part for charities, when I have the time. When I lived in OKC, I worked regularly at the weekends for the Oscar Romero Catholic Worker House, where my colleagues and I helped deliver food to the poor of the area.
On my return to Dublin, I got involved with Focus Ireland, a group who help the homeless all over the country. Most recently, I have been involved in photo-shoots for the Meningitis Research Foundation and hope that the posters, will create awareness for everyone suffering at the hands of this debilitating condition.
I am particularly partial to egalitarian-type politics, which goes hand-in-hand with the sympathies of true Irish people, who have been striving for equality and unity in the north of our country for many years. I am also a stalwart for strong relations and solidarity between all oppressed races, of all colours and creeds.
